As Associate Director at Silverback, Emma plays a pivotal role in supporting Alison Beard with the management and expansion of the Insolvency Team. Her responsibilities include providing training, guidance, and operational support to colleagues across various teams, ensuring the insolvency department runs smoothly. She works closely with the leadership team to promote and raise the profile of the insolvency offering, aiming to further establish Silverback Law as a key player in the insolvency space. Emma’s primary focus is driving the expansion of the team by delivering bespoke services for both pre- and post-insolvency corporate and personal cases, with the ultimate goal of making Silverback Law a market leader in insolvency practice

Emma is an active Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, contributing her expertise to the wider legal community. She is also a valued member of the Leeds and Newcastle Business and Property Courts Forum, as well as the Hereford & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and the Worcester Law Society, where she fosters connections and stays up to date with industry trends and developments.

With a solid educational foundation in Business Administration and over 12 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), Emma has built a highly successful career as a Chartered Legal Executive. Her extensive experience in litigation, debt recovery and insolvency matters, combined with her ongoing professional development, makes her a respected authority in the field.

Outside of her professional role, Emma enjoys spending quality time with her young family, exploring the countryside and local lakes. Her active lifestyle includes the gym, walking, and paddleboarding, and she is passionate about staying fit. When she finds a moment of downtime, Emma loves dining out and socialising with friends.
